I live long enough to get some laughs saying shit and reacting and become a character at least some people call their favorite, but die in the second-to-beginning-of-third act. I'm established as straight, but 90% of my fanart has me paired up with pretty boys.

You don't watch enough horror movies. The funny dude is usually the last to kick it, if he does at all. Doubly so these days if he's a black guy, because horror movies like to act like they're smart by knowingly subverting the Black Guy Dies First trope.

i'd be the guy who comes in late to make the big reveal that the murderer is impossible to prosecute as an individual because they're a member of a hivemind of trolls who harass individual named users all living in a 2-room apartment who absorb each other for sustenance and reproduce through mitosis and all look the same regardless of gender

then i disappear into the shadows to wait for the next thing to completely fuck up and turn into something other than the intended genre

I think I would be the first person to die.

Either that or I would have a million theories and the killer would be frustrated with hearing me chatter on about them so they would off me.

Haha I also like this idea, but I'm afraid the only one I'd be close to is a profiler. I'm pretty sure ill_omened would be closer to detective. In this case we'd have to either team up buddy style or be forced to work together despite being rivals/antagonists.

Either way someone would probably slash us.

I'm the archetypical educated guy who has a bunch of useful training. I try to keep the group together and stop everyone from accusing each other, and this works until I mysteriously vanish (or I die or am assumed dead) it is revealed that I was a co-conspirator the entire time and the entire thing is a strange psychological experiment.

I mean, that's pretty much the way this would work out in Hollywood.

I'm torn. I'd either be the big-chested bimbo who dies in the first scene (a la Drew Barrymore or Sarah Michelle Gellar in the Scream films), or I'm the one who survives because I don't break any of the 'sex/drugs/rock-and-roll' rules that get you hacked in horror films. XD

We are contractually obligated to play the first suspect who is then murdered later on, ala CSI.
