I accepted that they wouldn't put J/C together, but what they did was soooooooooooo much worse. UGH.

But on top of that, there was just such little for anyone other than Janeway to do in that episode (and I LOVE Janeway).

Just ugh.

Yeah, I know. I mean, I get it - it's a big cast. That's why most episodes centered one to four characters, not all. But they knew this was coming. I have to assume they're experienced scriptwriters and producers. There had to be a better way to do it!

Rushing a random romance was a million times worse than putting together any of the "will-they-won't-they" pairings, for sure. Seven/Doctor or Seven/Harry would have made more sense! I can't think of many conversations Seven ever had with Chakotay that weren't Voyager-related. Maybe talking about nebula gets him hot though...
