I'd like to honor that, but the problem is, I don't think there's a way to prove you are the OP, and I don't want to open the door to any anon claiming any secret is theirs and asking for takedowns, you know?

nayrt obviously but I think this is a good policy. The hypothetical situation of a troll starting to request deletion of random secrets is a headache.

It seems that they want to discredit the secret for some reason. Maybe they are the author of the comic or a rabid fan.

A couple of people suggested not linking them (the argument was that gif blockers and such exist and would be generally on for an epileptic anon anyway), so trying that for now!

I don't care what ~some~ people might have. Not everyone have gif blockers, so by not linking the moving gifs you're basically saying "I don't care about those peoples lives"

Well, if that's what you take out of it, I doubt I can change your mind.

With the preponderance of gifs and video all over the internet these days (way more than even 5-ish years ago), the anons did have a point, though - it'd be unsafe for anyone who can't see gifs to not have a blocker going almost anywhere on the internet.
