It just makes me happy that the fandom for this game isn't as dead as I thought it was if a secret about it was just posted.

Also, I find that ending kind of weird, but now that I think about it, I kind of like it too. I was thinking about how everyone seems to like the "happy" ending, but then I thought about how it involves killing a character who pretty much permanently has the mind of a child (even though it was really a last resort), so I'm kind of torn.

In my heart, they all get their happy ending, screw canon.

Better than Ib and Garry dying in the painting world.

This ending is my favourite because in a twisted way at least they are together? It also shows that Mary is not psychotic just because she is evil, but because she has the mind of a child and doesn't seem to understand what would happen to a living human if they remain in the painting world. This and "A painting's demise" also touches on the nature of the world of Guertena, and I like it. Mary has the mind of a child, how about the others? Do the women seen atttending Mary's little party understands they are death, or just care about flowers? Do the creatures know they are killing or just do what they made to do? I've always been fascinated by the painting world and wish we knows more about it. Because there are happy endings for Ib and Gary I can like this one, you can almost see this as a happy ending for Mary.

Yeah, too bad Garry and Ib die so fast that Mary's alone again within hours.
