Yea, I feel you on this. Hannibal/Will would not be positive on any damn level, but the actors have tons of chemistry and their characters have an intense, intriguingly fucked up relationship. It's one of the reasons I dig the show so much, so I definitely understand why people would want the show to explore it. Just... Not for reasons of representation.

Yeah honestly, I'm all for great representation of whatever (strong women! positive same-sex relationships! etc) but first and foremost, I just want to be told a story that interests me and keeps me at the edge of my seat. And dark, fucked up things interest me.

That's fair! I want both but at the end of the day even if what I'm watching/playing/reading isn't giving me that representation, it doesn't mean I can't enjoy it.

It's always nice when it does, but I want to be entertained, and if the media fulfills that want then I can still appreciate it.

And of course people are allowed to say they aren't happy too, but in this case... Hannibal/Will would not be positive anything, so that just makes me laugh.
