Okay /Hachi fangirl mode.

Just ignore them and have fun. Yeah tumblr's a really shitty place right now with people latching on to SJW terms in order to win ship wars or to feel superior to others.

BUT! There are things you can do to remove yourself from hateful harpies.

Turn off anon asks, have a blacklist (http://bjornstar.com/tumblr-savior) set up for tags such as "ship hate" or "kink critical" or whatever it is they're calling it these days, follow people who are actually fun, send encouraging asks to artists and writers who are getting harassed, block wankers, make sure that you do not link your real life identity to your fandom identity in any way, and go have fun regardless of what people say. Yeah the fandom atmosphere sucks and the initial time required to set up blacklists might be a teensy bit daunting but it is still possible to have a decent fandom experience. :)
