My theory is that it's super religious folk trying to justify/sanitize stuff they shouldn't be getting into in the first place.

It really was much simpler for everyone when they weren't allowed on the Internet at all.

There could be some truth to that. But many of the SJWs I've come across on Tumblr who get off on these high horses are militantly atheist.

I remember someone here, a while back, remarked that it's probably a bunch of younger teenagers who may still be in the "ewwww sex is icky" phase of their lives. Would not surprise me at all.

da

...Most SJWs I've seen are VERY anti-atheist. You know, calling them white racist neckbeards and shit.

And are very pro-religion, because most American black, Hispanic and Middle Eastern people are really Christian or Muslim.

Since minorities are religious, the social justice thing to do is to embrace religion and yell at those whoever criticizes it.

....that is seriously messed up.

No surprise they are both anti-kink and super vocal about being asexual.

Asexual =/= anti-kink. I don't personally have any kinks (I am, after all, asexual), but I do not care what you get off on as long as everyone involved is a consenting adult.

#Notallasexuals.

It's idiotic, impressionable young'uns first entering fandom who think that this conversation hasn't been had 100 times before and who honestly believe they're doing good when manipulative adults with petty grudges tell them that harassing rape survivors is justice.

Yep, the fact that Tumblr (and the SJW culture especially) skews young in terms of the demographic who are most likely to be vocal is probably a big contributing factor.

Haven't run into any of the underage stuff in my fandoms, but I have seen someone harrassing a (survivor) writer of non-con fic about how their fic promotes rape culture.

That's about as succinct a description of them as I've ever seen.
