Actually, the one you linked is a vulcan kiss, not a forehead bump.
It's the equivalent of our holding hands because even though vulcans kiss on the lips, that finger gesture is the pda allowed for married couples.

Spock's forehead boop with her is tender and sweet.
I can see the vulcans doing that, maybe because of all that emphasis they put on the head and the way they bond with their mate through a mental link. It might as well be another kind of vulcan bonding gesture altogether.

That is all the more intimate when he does that. All that vulnerability when his lips tremble as he reassures her 'I will be back' when he is scared that he will, in fact, die. I always knew that Spock was, deep down, a sweet guy.
