But you're creating a definable category for what feminism is, and that doesn't exist. Feminism is NOT one philosophy, one set of arguments and claims, and one political agenda. You could have a hundred people defining as feminists who have completely different opinions on everything (except for one thing):

which is that women have gotten the short end of the stick, and there's still work to do for equality to really happen.

That's a fair point, and I do agree that feminism is not a monolith.

At the same time, I stand by my point that some people really do reject feminism while still believing in equality.

And I would point out that your position here is incompatible with what I'm actually arguing against, which is the idea that feminism basically means a belief in gender equality, and by extension that all people who believe in gender equality are feminists.
