Oh, I'm not saying I was surprised that Forever was canceled. Based on the numbers, I absolutely expected it to be canceled. Even if it had been produced by ABC studios (which I agree makes a difference with borderline/bubble shows). I was just saying that the Galavant renewal with those ratings was shocking (I mean, does anyone expect it will make it to the 88 episodes required to see money back from syndication?), and that it was connected to Forever's status in that I can easily see why people would be bitter about the situation.

Yeah, I get that. American Crime's renewal was also a huge shock to me, maybe more than the Galavant renewal. So...yeah. :(
