GoT spoilers - anyone want to talk about what else happened?

Considering who Sansa is replacing in the books, it isn't like this came out of nowhere. And it makes sense why'd they put her in Poole's role. It eliminates a secondary character that people who've not read the books know nothing about AND it gives Sansa something to do other than babysitting for a whole season (or more).

I loved all the stuff having to do with Arya. That room with all the faces was fucking awesome. Jaime and Bronn's storyline continues to be fantastic.

I can't stand Cersei. Though, I can't wait for the whole Sparrows thing to backfire on her. It will be fantastic.

This is why I am shocked that people are shocked. Like I get being angry that the showrunners gave her Jeyne's plotline in the first place, but this was set up episodes ago and I'm seeing people online react like, "WHHHAAATTTTT???"

The instant Sansa got within 3 miles of Ramsay I knew this was going to happen. It was not a surprise. It was harsh but no more harsh then what happens to Jeyne.

I can get being surprised if you are a book reader. But hell, based on what you've seen from Ramsey in the show, you have to know Sansa is going to go through some shit.

And the idea of giving Sansa agency (or suprising audiences) by having her stab/defend herself is just stupid. We know Ramsey can fight well so she wouldn't win. And if she did someone how kill him, what do they think will happen? She is surrounded by Boltons, they'd kill her.

Yeah I agree with your second paragraph. Especially because the direction they seem to be taking Sansa is by having her strength all be tactical. She went through so much with Joffrey that she now knows how to survive these situations, and she is going to wait until an opportunity arises for her. She wouldn't do anything careless that might get herself killed, so even if she has to endure some pain she will endure it to reclaim her home.

I've never really thought Sansa was weak and I actually think the way she's played things are smart. I mean heck, she's STILL ALIVE. That says a lot for a GOT character lol.

Precisely! And I really do enjoy Sansa. She is in my top 10 characters. She was a bit annoying in Season 1 but she was young.
