Yep. I'm actually massively uncomfortable with adults labeling kids that way. Kids don't assign genders to things until they are TAUGHT to. A baby will pick up any toy that looks interesting to them regardless of their sex and kids will pick up all sorts of toys, even when they have been conditioned to know about gender (you see it a lot with brothers and sisters because they have jealousy issues so they will take whatever their sibling has.)

Gender is something an individual needs to figure out for themself and no adult should be pushing a label on a kid.
