I drink less then I used to these days, maybe a couple times a month recently.

Stick to rum, coke, and lime simply because long running intollerance issues mean pretty much anything else dissagrees with me, and it's got the kick I need. Go to is Kraken.

I have a pretty decent tolerance which is a mixed blessing. On the one hand it can be expensive as hell, last time I went to a bar in central I spent £100 in a couple hours and was still sober enough to remember it and easily navigate my way home, but on the other hand it's a point of masculine pride and makes it more difficult for people to manipulate you.

Mostly it makes me incredibly relaxed and more sociable. Kills all those nagging anxieties and lets you just be open, the ultimate social lubricant. Because like hell would I ever dance and approach random people sober. At the very worst it'll make me tease people I think need knocking down a peg or two.

I'll make absolutely no bones about that, it's the worlds least sophisticated drink with the worst stereotypes. But in a world of chronic lightweights it helps you keep up with your mates and goes down like water.
