I'm currently reading Ushio and Tora. Think Calvin and Hobbes from Hell--brash kid with magic spear and invisible homicidal tiger spirit trade insults, fight demons together, and swear they're going to kill each other even while saving each other's lives. I love the old-school art style, and I like how the nonpowered characters who can't really hurt the monsters still get moments of courage and heroism.
