It's a bit cliché, but red wine is absolutely my go-to. The bolder/darker/richer the better-- I'm a sucker for cabernet sauvignon, or a nice tempranillo. Lately, though, I'm on a big and very specific kick: Malbecs from Argentina.

But I really enjoy a nice cocktail from time to time, too. I'll usually try a house cocktail at a restaurant as long as it sounds good, which usually ends up being something made either with bourbon or gin. There's this awesome drink at a restaurant just down the street that's made with pecan-infused bourbon and chicory bitters, and I find myself craving that sometimes. Hnnnngh.

All that said, I don't actually drink that often. I'd say I drink maybe...once or twice a week? And never terribly much. One cocktail or one glass of wine is enough to get me warm and fuzzy. However, if I do overindulge, I am a chatty fuckin drunk, I will go on forever about things.
