As much as I do like it, the new upcoming one erases it. It also gets rid of Alien Resurrection and the AvP movies, so hey, it's not all bad!

I usually hate retcons with the blazing passion of ten thousand suns, but Alien/Aliens needs it.

I didn't much care for it.

But it was miles and miles better than Resurrection. Aliens is my favorite, despite Alien being the technically better film, but I'm still not sure how I feel about the upcoming movie.

I have to say I'm not a huge Aliens 3 fan, but I certainly prefer it to Prometheus. I think overall Aliens is my favourite in the franchise.

It's not mine, but it has a place in my heart because it was the first Alien film I saw.

Yeah I get that, Resurrection is that movie for me. Was the first one I watched and while I don't think it's as good as the others it still has a place in my heart because it was the one the introduced me to the Alien movies.

Isolation? Did you finish it? I made the mistake of playing it on the hardest lvl and had to give up because I'm stupid and stubborn. The graphics and sound are amazing though.

I loved Alien 3 for the dog-mixed Alien. I thought it looked fabulous, way more impressive than human-based Alien, and I loved how graciously it moved.
I didn't dislike the rest of the movie, either, I thought it was in theme with the rest of the franchise.

It's only Resurrection and Prometheus that I thought truly sucked.
I wasn't aware Alien 3 was so looked down at.
