Some teens are in court for talking about shooting up their high school on Facebook. Their classmates say it was just a joke, but the community isnt laughing.

Here's my criteria for that sort of thing: If you'd get in trouble for yelling it in public, same goes for online. If they'd stood in the middle of a park and screamed "I'm going to shoot up my school", no one would be laughing either.
