A lot of things, really. But I guess the most obvious one is that I've had a solid organ transplant and am therefore forever immunocompromised. It adds a few additional challenges to life.

Liver! Random luck of the draw autoimmune disease struck when I was sixteen, and lead to liver failure. The surgery is a pretty reliable cure though, and there's been no recurrence.

As far as life threatening illness goes I pretty much won the lottery.
