The majority of FSers seem to me to not want any wank; that's why I'm here, instead of in a more specific fandom space. The lawyering thing stopped being funny when you a) admitted what you were doing then b) turned it up to 11.

Well, thanks for proving my entire point by assuming I'm lawyer anon despite my starting this thread expressly pointing out that I wasn't.

The only thing I'm doing is expressing sheer frustration at the fact that every complaint about named users' views or behavior get tarred with the convenient "same hater anon" brush by a significant clique within F!S, rather than looking at the original behavior and accept that yes, it's entirely possible it might have pissed off more than one person and that the complaints may have some legitimacy.

Why are you assuming "everyone" accusing you of being lawyer anon isn't themselves the same anon trolling you? There appears to be one person accusing every anon of it.

I'm a different anon than the one who thinks you're the same anon in this thread, FTR. Though I do think Lawyer!Anon from one of the non-fandom secrets threads, a week or so back, is the same anon who has been spamming the first comment (List fandoms, etc.) with spurious takedown requests since that confession. That's my only opinion on the matter.

Actually (New anon to this whole thread) I'm the original rule lawyer anon (the one who made the post admitting it).

Since then I've actually been trying to curb my impulse to start shit.

Someone else, however, seems to have taken my idea and run with it in a way completely devoid of subtlety.

My rule lawyering may have been irritating, but I never took an argument I didn't at least think I had good grounds for. That "Character design = Spoiler" shit was amateur hour.

Maybe there are parts they like, and parts they think need fixing. Not hard to see someone staying for the bits they love, and getting worked up if they are treated like shit when they say there are other bits that aren't so good. Especially when case essentially has said to fuck the anons, he only listens to named users opinions.

Okay, Case!Stalker. I totally remember that time Case said "fuck the anons". Even though that never happened ever.

It was the day after the spoiler "vote" thread where Case said that since named users wanted it, that is what he was going with. It isn't hard to read that as Anon opinions not counting for anything.

I don't have a clue why they said it contains what they thought it did, because it doesn't. Throwing away the sameanon who replied 10 times in 5 minutes after the poll was closed doesn't mean every other anon was ignored.
