15. Get them to watch the show first ("Hey! I think you might like this!" and then if they get into it then casually mention there are a lot of people on the internet who like it too and a few adaptions. If they're interested in it they'll probably go searching and find out everything for themselves and come to you for explanations and stuff themselves. Pick friends who are easily corrupted to try this on. and don't be pushy, because everyone hates that. They'll come around on their own. ♥

And if none of your friends are interested in it, force yourself to talk to people at cons because they're already fans.

LOOKS LIKE. I'm just sad because that means I can't really post it on LJ at all, just the Pit of Voles. (It's not like anyone on my f-list will read it, though, so maybe I'm just being spectacularly dumb.)

You can make another journal for it though! Then you could lie when you link to in on your real journal and say, "Hey [friend]! You remember when I told you I had an idea for Ratatouille fanfiction? Well, someone already wrote it!" People would read it, they just wouldn't know it was you. (And unless they're creepy, they probably won't bother researching even if they do have suspicions.)
