Notes:

I wondered because of the huge list of things that PoT just happens to also have. It does seem impossibly hard to get people into, though. There's no reason for them to actually want to watch/read the canon, at least not at its surface. I mean... Tennis? WTF, right? I wish all the luck in the world to the OP.

Haha. Yeah. Just the live-action musicals thing narrows it down. :D

Yes, it IS almost impossibly hard to get people into. I've been raving about PoT to my friends for over a year and didn't get any success until recently. -__- I had to make a deal with one of my other friends involving playing her favorite video games in order to get her to watch it. Always get the "WTF TENNIS?" reaction. Always. -__-

xP My friends had to make a deal with me to get me to read the manga. Multiple deals, actually. For every ten chapters, I think. xP It was more about the ugly art for me, though. The first few volumes? Eww.

Wow. XD Aren't you glad they did now? :) The early art is indeed ugly. -__- Why'd they have you read the manga instead of watch the anime? The anime is so much more fun, cracky, prettier, and generally easier to like...

Well, I'm more a manga person. It takes less effort to download, and I always like having my anime and/or manga on hand, whether or not my internet decides to work. So yeah. Manga. =D
