I think that's where I pretty much quit too. Like he and Peter had such a great trusting relationship, and then Neal was like "IMMA GO PULL THIS CON ON HIM. JUST BECAUSE."

Definitely, Neal made some poor ass decisions. Sometimes they felt forced and contrary to the character development he had received up to that point, too.

Why have Neal try to build trust with Peter if he's always going to go behind his back? I just got frustrated with the constant setbacks. If Neal did it specifically so he could fool Peter easier later I would understand, but that isn't the case; he clearly cared about Peter and wanted to be partners/friends. SO WHY YOU FUCK UP SO BAD.
