Re: Things you keep watching long after you stopped enjoying them

My beef is that you could essentially take Zeb and Sabine completely out of the show... and not much would change, except for maybe a few small things here and there (though at least two episodes would cease to exist without Zeb around). People have been telling me "Oh, the others [i.e. Zeb and Sabine] are going to get more development in S2 b/c of the higher episode count!" but outside of a 'Malibu Stacy has a New Hat' (i.e. Sabine is now colored blue instead of pink, apparently), all everyone is focusing on is a couple returning characters from Clone Wars. Which I totally get, but that could dovetail into a grievance that's probably best served for another thread/time/place.

I guess I'm just frustrated, because I got bought up into a hype that was out of what I wanted from the show, which was a standard set by Clone Wars (even though they've said that this is trying to be a different show from that). So I can't be too hard on it for that reason. Plus, I have to remind myself that it took at least a good 2 and a half seasons before Clone Wars really hit its stride, so yeah. Here's hoping...
