I agree that female characters can be criticized and don't all have to be beloved. Hell, I didn't even like Charlie. However, there is something to be said for the other anon's complaint regarding the women on this show. 99% of the time, it seems, they are "critiqued" and hated. Often for stupid reasons that wouldn't likely be am issue if they weren't women. Bela and Ruby were criticized and despised from the time of their announcement, before they even appeared on the show! Compare that to how the guy characters are usually loved and fawned over. It can be a bit much.
