Re: Is Amy Shumer a rapist?

being forced into a gross situation, having a deeply unpleasant experience, because you're insecure and feel like you have no choice, to the point where a drunk guy booty calls you and you feel you have to come running? That doesn't sound like she's a bit of a victim there?

She did not want to do it. She did not enjoy doing it, but at that time in her life she needed to feel desirable, and the system as it stood meant that this was the only way.

are you really saying that having a low self esteem is a good excuse? I'm not even saying that she's a rapist, I just think it's really weird that you find that to be a valid justification. the guy called her on a cell phone and she went to him of her own volition; he didn't blackmail her or hold a gun to her head for fuck's sake. you sound like one of those Incel losers who think they deserve to get laid because it's somehow rude of people to not desire them

I agree with you, their whole explanation was so dumb. I imagined a gender reversed version of the explanation that sounded like something you'd find on Return of Kings or something.

"Society makes me feel like less of a man and insecure if I haven't fucked a woman , so when a half drunk women flirted with/asked to have sex with me I felt like I HAD to. I tried fucking her while she was half falling asleep the whole time. It wasn't very enjoyable for me and I didn't like it but I felt like I HAD to do it. ergo, I am a victim. "

and yes, AYRT's excuse doesn't sound much better either.

You know what, I applaud your trolling. This comment has genuinely disturbed me even though I know that you're fucking with people. Special shout-out to "and the system as it stood meant that this was the only way" for implying that the "system" somehow meant that she needed to willingly seek out some dude who was completely smashed and then have sex with his half-conscious self. That is both hilarious and awful

I hope you never accidentally mistake yourself for a good person, anon.
