Excited but can't tell anyone but FS
(Anonymous) 2015-05-24 12:56 am (UTC)(link)A very good friend of mine (the considerate, bedding preferences remembering friend from a while ago, if anyone remembers) got to know a guy today and apparently they really hit it off. Which is absolutely great because she's awesome and deserves a great guy (from the little I've seen he seems like a wisecracking smart-ass which means he would fit right in with us), but because she's terribly insecure I can't tell anyone she met someone because literally everyone else of my friends either knows her as well, knows her sister (whom she especially doesn't want to know), or is good friends with someone her sister knows. So I have to share this with you guys, because I'm really really happy for her.
(And also dreading the fact that if it works out I'll be the only one without an SO in any of my friend circles, which is probably going to suck. At least till now I could always commiserate with my friend :( still happy and excited for her, though!)
