Don't be a slut and choose one. Garrus and Thane are great guys, they don't deserve a cheating gf.

The iron law of Only One Husbando, huh?

Jeremy Renner? Is that you?

It's a video game, how would anyone even know if you did both? Unless you told everyone. Here. On F!S. In sordid detail.

I think this is a problem that most Mass Effect players experience.

Isn't this the entire reason for playing BioWare games multiple times, though?

(Okay, SLIGHT exaggeration, but come on.)

Sex all the hot aliens.

Sex everyone.

I did not make a male!Shep just so I could romance Tali, nooooo. Nope, never.

I enjoyed m!Shep (default m!Shep even, he was hot) but (custom) f!Shep was def my favorite. I was extremely disappointed when I realized f!Shep couldn't romance Tali. (And it totally felt like Tali had a crush on f!Shep too!)

Default male!Shep is pretty fine I wont lie and while I do enjoy fem!Shep more from a story and voice-acting perspective I still liked my male!Shep play-through, it was weird interacting with Garrus without the intent of trying get into his pants.

Oh man like I get that you can't have all the NPC's falling over the PC, but one of the biggest things that bummed me out in ME2 was that I couldn't romance Tali, I would have jumped on that train so hard(or Samara, gimmie Samara. Actually I wouldn't turn down Miranda either tbh). But I still loved having her as my space-bff instead of my space-girlfriend, and hey I got to romance her in the end anyway(even if it was effectively doing the equivalent of an AU genderswap to manage it).

See, a part of me is just like, “I want to romance ALL the characters", and another part of me realizes and accepts that just isn't possible, or realistic. With Samara, I wanted to romance her REALLY bad, but despite her feelings she wouldn't go along with it. And in a way I found that kind of neat, that she was adamant in her feelings and her choice. It made sense for her as a character, and it stood out.

So on one hand, yea, I want to romance everyone because I adore them, in the other... How many romances does any given game need? Lmao.

Thanks BioWare, for making me so damn invested in fictional romance.

Oh yeah I agree with you on that, much as I might want to romance all the characters(because they're all pretty great lets face it), it would be really unrealistic for that to actually be a possibility. And while I was bummed that Samara and Tali were off the table romance-wise it also made sense, because not everyone swings that way, or both ways(though tbf with Samara it was personal choice, rather than that she just wasn't into ladies and that was something different and nice imo).

Damn Bioware and their ability to make me care about stupid fictional characters.

Your picture is perfect for your secret. :)

I had the opposite problem, started the whole trilogy intent on banging Garrus, then I met Thane and was like "goddamn it Bioware".
...Then I stopped playing for a month because neither of them liked cock. :(

I have started at least 10 f!shep playthroughs to romance Garrus, but I always give up and come back to m!shep to romance Miranda instead (and Kaidan in ME3). In Dragon Age I have no problems romancing a different character each playthrough but when it comes to Mass Effect I can only romance Miranda and Kaidan, I didn't even romance anyone in ME1 :/
