Conventions
I was going to go to Wizard World Chicago in August, but I've switched gears to Alamo City Comic Con in September instead. It's pricier overall, but it works out better time-wise, and there's more guests there that I'm interested in seeing compared to WWC (i.e. Michael Rooker, Sean Gunn, Matthew 'General Grievous' Wood, Ray Park, and Ron Perlman). They've hinted they're going to be adding more Marvel/MCU guests, though I suspect it'll be the usual suspects from SHIELD and Agent Carter who do the con circuit stuff.
I'm almost tempted to go to this local con centered around British pop culture/fandom later this summer, but I don't think they'd have anything Thunderbirds related, ahaha. Lots of Sherlock Holmes, Doctor Who, Tolkien, and such, though.

I'd always be hesitant to travel such a long way/choose based on guests. There are all always people who cancel at the last minute. :(

Does con season in America really end that early? Con season here starts around June and goes all the way through December (though our "cons" are mostly just cosplay events; we only have about 2 or 3 actual major cons with celebrity guests and all that).
