Re: What's your cooking specialty?
It's chapati flour (cannot be substituted with normal flour) and water. Those are the only two ingredients. You mix flour and water, roll it into a tortilla-ish thing, and dump it on a pan and then, if possible, onto an open gas stove flame. put on some butter and salt, and some pickle or relish if you want. The hard part is rolling it thinly and evenly, so it puffs up while cooking and ends up soft and crispy at the same time, instead of chewy and hard. I have practiced enough that I can make them puff up and taste good, so that's my claim to fame.
