R.I.P...Tanith Lee

So probably too late for anyone to see, but....

She was my second-favorite author, first favorite for anything 'dark' or creepy, she was *amazing* and her style was incredible. Lush, humid, claustrophobic at times, so full of tiny details and beautiful imagery....

I will definitely mourn her passing. And must re-read all the things.... Don't Bite the Sun, The Silver-Metal Lover, The Secret Books of Paradys, A Heroine of the World, Black Unicorn, the 'Personal Darkness' series, the Venus series.... So many things.

Oh, man...I've only read a little of her stuff, but from that little, I thought she was a fantastic writer. I'm sorry to hear she's passed. Damn, now I'm going to read all those books, too, I've got a lot to catch up on.
