...no, I seriously spent too many hours one day coming up with creative deaths for Link. (I CAN'T HELP IT HIS VOICE IS KIND OF AWESOME)

Nintendo has a lovely habit of picking the most awesome voices ever for their characters. ♥

Me, I love Link's voice. And I would freaking go furry for Fox and Falco because their Japanese voices are like...omfg hot. >>

He always has the SEXIST voices, which is remarkable for, you know, A MUTE GUY.

My ten year old self took horrifying sadistic GLEE out of flinging OoT Link off of high things just to hear that grunting noise he'd make upon impact. Like he was trying very hard not to curse like a sailor or something.

And then TP came along and the fun began anew. (Although it should be noted that after seeing the lava!death the first time, I never fell in the lava again. :( Just a bit too real, Nintendo) God I feel like an awful person. I do love him though, really.

I did the SAME THING with OoT. That game ate my soul. I was obsessed with it. I think I played through that game a million times. (Except I totally hated when he was a kid, because his voice was cute but NOT SEXY.)

OKAY I CAN'T HELP IT I WANT LINK TO TALK. All the pretty cut scenes in TP and I was just ACHING for Link to have lines. It was TORTUREEEE.

(Word on the lava!death. I couldn't handle it. I did it once and it was enough.) Link is my favorite hero ever. I need some Link icons. Lately Sokka has been eating up all my icon space.

Oh, you should have seen how I spazzed when my brother finally got through the Door of Time on his first play though. (Since I watched him play before starting my file). It was the beginning of an epic crush TO LAST A LIFETIME. I still want to bake cookies for young!Link though, he's so adorable.

It was SO AWKWARD sometimes. Like when Ilia would be having a one-sided conversation with the guy and you could only assume he was answering her? XDD I'm seriously hoping that someone writes a manga adaptation for TP because I think Midna/Link banter would be epic. (Because I have a feeling he would have countered her snark if he was able to.) But I think deep down, I'm still terrified of them giving Link lines. "Excuuuuuse me, Princess" comes to mind. BURNING.

CHRIST, I was TERRIFIED of the lava. Oh my jeez, I was already getting dizzy from walking on top of a fence and then when he fell off and screamed and died, I had to take a break for a minute. I'm not one to get disturbed easily, but... the heights made me weak, I suppose... D'=

I love Akira Sasanuma. I got obsessed with his voice after hearing him in a BL game, and when I found out he was cast for Link, I bothered my friend to record all his noises

She gave me like 5 minutes worth of him dying.

It depends on your definition of fangirl, I guess. I certainly don't consider myself a fanbrat in any case.

Haha, looking at the secret now, I can see why people would think me a fanbrat. But really, all I was trying to say was blaming a gender to justify a same-sex relationship (in any form) is stupid. If you just want to see man sex, just say it. There's no need to place 'blame' on a female character.

Seriously. I'm in a fandom that's rampant with yaoi pairings (unbelievably so) and the female characters get abused like there's no tomorrow. And while people argue that it's because they're annoying/bad characters/what have you, I think it has more to do with the fact that they put a wedge in the gay. (At least as far as canon goes)

Yeah I've got that problem myself so I just try and stay out of fandoms because I don't having to deal with all the stupid character bashing. It's sometimes lonely but I'm much happier to not be in a fandom than be associated with them.

As for why, I think it may have just been poor wording on the OP's part, but all I could get out of the secret was "I pity you and my life is wonderful!", which I have trouble taking seriously. But then, it's always hard to interpret tone on the internet.

Ah, okay. I didn't perceive the OP that way, but I guess I see how you would have. I can see how my comment to you came off as rude, too; I really should have left out that second sentence. Sorry about that. ^^; I think in the future I'll take a few more minutes to think about my comments, and how to phrase them, before responding to people.
