DUDE, do it! Like, one story I heard of Vic is that one of his fans told him to sign a doujinshi that she got at a con. She flipped to a random page and he signed it and when she closed it, it was a Roy/Ed doujinshi! XDDD he got so icked out, he then added to his signature, "ED DOES NOT APPROVE!".

Another story is that this girl had a Kurogane/Fai badge of some sorts and when he saw it, he got so angry, he signed his name on a business card and gave it to her.

Really? The version I heard had him sign with "EEEEEWW" or something to that extent. =/

Man, I would've pranked called him SO MUCH. THAT NUMBER COULD HAVE BEEN USED FOR JUSTICE.

It was a person who took a (yaoi) FMA fanwork and asked Vic to sign it to embarrass their friend, the author of said fanwork. Contrary to expectation, he did sign it (as 'EWWWW, Ed"). I know it's not solely his fault, but a part of me still resents the WANK that him going along with the prank caused. (The fanwork creator got reamed over the coals for this, that, and the other thing, including ZOMG SHOWING VIC SLASH CAUSE DON'T YOU KNOW HE HATES IT.)

If he hates yaoi so much, then he needs to be like other VAs and stay out of fandom -- or at the very least stop preaching against it one day and pandering to yaoi fangirls the next.

He signed my yaoi. *shrug* He also wrote "Ed does not approve!" on my friend's picture of Ed with a shrimp tail. I think this stuff is urban legend. He personally doesn't like yaoi, but I've never seen him attack it. Hell, at MTAC two years ago, he even screamed, "Hands off, Riza! He's mine!" when asked during a Q&A.

There are grains of truth in the above stories. Vic's stance on slash seems kind of bipolar to me - he'll say he disapproves of it, but he does sign slash fanworks and such (or make jokes pandering to the slash-loving crowd at cons).

Personally, I really wish that he'd have a bit more care with regards to that. A lot of VAs never sign fanworks because they're not official art, which some people claim spoils the fun but well...after some of the wank the FMA fandom wound up with because of him 'endorsing' or not endorsing fanworks with his sig, I personally wish he would avoid signing any XD;;;;;;
