Really, though. I can understand why you wouldn't like the CR forums that much. I'm not fond of them either. I do review some of my friends' fanfics there, but I generally stay away -- I hardly post there at all. There are a lot of ship debaters on that forum, and I'm really not into that. The LJ fandom is awesome, though, and really friendly.

This is like the 8th time I've seen a comment like this--as I agreed with 34--and yet, here I'm a part of like 3 different pw lj communities and they're all basically like those forums, too.

Ship debates, evidence debates. It's like, where's the fun in that?

Really? I dunno, I generally don't read a ton of comments in the PW comms -- mainly I just chat in the journals of my friends who are in the fandom, so it seems a lot nicer than it really is. Most of us are P/E shippers, but there are others who aren't, and everyone just chats away and it's fine. There's a lot of character discussion, which does include looking at cannon, etc... but nothing really serious, ya know? Just fun discussion.

Although, your comment makes me want to start watching GS and Igiari a little closer. :(

I think, in general, ship debates are one of the worst things about fandom. They just make it no fun for anyone.

Which, man, I just don't get. If I were a woman I'd want Godot to plow me like a layer of 16 foot snow; why would you WANT to hook him up with a dude if that means less-a-dickin' for you, you know?

At least with Edgeworth and Wright it makes sense, they practically make out with each other in the game. But Godot? Man, when has he ever hinted that he guzzles cock like his coffee?

Maybe it's just his general seductive/flirtatious demeanor that makes people think he wouldn't be all that discriminatory?
