There are a lot of places to watch the film of the original stage version (with Bernadette Peters as the Witch and Joanna Gleason as the Baker's Wife) online, if you're interested. Some of them totally licit, if that makes a difference. It is literally just a film of the show with no bells and whistles except the occasional face close up.
