A-fricking-men. Even the people who argue the literal interpretation are dense and focusing on the first have of the line without regard for context, characterisation, or the rest of the sentence. The line is essentially "I also cannot have that thing, because the Red Room took away everything that might take precedence over the mission.[subtext: They couldn't drill biology out of us they way they usually brainwashed, so they took extra steps.] Who is the monster?"

What is interesting is that at the end of the film she proves that getting the job done is still her biggest priority, and she's willing to cross some morally-iffy boundaries to get it done.
