How many pan up shots of Steve, Thor, and Clint, and even Tony we got in AoU was amazing. Clearly whoever was doing the filming understood that female (and gay male) gaze is important too.

I have more of an issue with the comics, though, where it really is only about the straight male gaze.

I actually think Pietro got a shirtless scene too, right? I saw a quick gif of him putting on a shirt or something.

I don't begrudge straight males their eye candy. I just want to share the love.

I'm glad that it was balanced.

Yes, he get one shirtless scene where he was putting on a shirt. And Thor got a nice wet and shirtless scene too.

See it in Imax. It is awesome. I think Cap got the most such shots, but everyone got their share.

You know, it's funny, but I watched the alternate opening for The Winter Soldier and as beautifully sad and tragic as it was (and I loved it, no doubt!), I remember being most disappointed by the fact that it included a shirtless Steve scene that the final product didn't. What a missed opportunity!
