Nah, because then I have to respond to comments and watch people back and shit or I'll feel like an elitist dick.

I feel kind of guilty as is not responding to the occasional comment I get on pictures I posted there 8 years ago, but I make the excuse that nobody expects a response on something so old anyway.

Is there a culture on dA that says people are elitist dicks if they don't respond to comments or watch people back? (If there is, I think that's really dumb.)

I don't know. That's just how I personally would feel if I didn't repond. I wouldn't think that about others who don't.

It may be something worth working on if you want to share your art! Nothing wrong with putting it out there and you're not obligate to respond to anyone.
