25. GOD, I hear you. I was in the fifth grade when Episode I came out and my love for it from that time in my life has persevered to this day... I don't think anything can compare to the overwhelming joy I feel when watching it. Though the whole OTP bit is where I can't agree XD.

27. WORD TO THE FUCKING MAX. There are a few somewhat BNFs on dA in particular that I can think of who are obsessed with Zutara-bashing and it ansolutely drives me up a wall. But now to pounce you for this one little bit, I sort of just want to play with the Aang/Zuko and Sokka/Zuko people because they have FUN..." YES. JOIN US ON THE AANG/ZUKO SIDE <3 We do have fun... but it'd be easier to have fun with more people to play with!

28. It depends on the people, really, because two of my friends couldn't give a shit about WoW but have almost entirely lost their lives to FlyFF... I know I should be more pissed at them for being unable to restrain themselves, but I can't help but feel animosity for the game.

34. I don't even play it, but I kind of hate blood elves just because my gamer friends scoff at my elf characters (who are based in part on D&D and partially on elements of my own) because of their annoyance with blood elves.

34. I've had the same thing happen to me! When we play D&D I want to roll up an elf because I love the racial bonuses, but the DM and another member of the party seem to hate elves in any form and tease me for playing a pretty man. It's uncool!

Yeah, I like nonwanky places, and Avatar is like the opposite of my last real wanky fandom, where it was the slashers who were wanky as hell. Aang/Zuko appeals to me because I like the dynamic, and it doesn't seem like anybody cares about canon, because it isn't going to be canon.

I've found that odd about Avatar, as well... The slash is also more of the minority in it, too, which makes things easier to deal with. And that's really pretty much it, we know it won't happen so we enjoy doing with it what we will.
