It is just painful because I like Aang/Katara and adore Mai/Zuko, and they talk about Zutarians harshing their buzz, and their complaining harshes mine. I would rather hang with people who don't care or who ship things and don't have any care about whether it will be canon or not.

They still crossdress, just on the very rare occassion (in the source of the secret it's Ash who's actually in a maid outfit, and the season before James AND Meowth dressed as Jesse, lipstick and all).
