Exactly. That was my point. I was just pointing-out that WoW can be just as addictive and vicariously damaging as drugs or alcohol. Crack and booze in and of themselves don't ruin lives, it's peoples' addiction to it that is damaging.

then shouldn't it have been "PEOPLE'S ADDICTIONS RUIN THEIR LIVES"? "This game" in of itself ruins nothing. except my ability to take elves seriously. :(

34. I roleplay on WoW and with other very good RPers, but it would be great to have more people to RP with.

Thank you. This is very simply put and far more accurate than blaming a game for creating such behavioural problems. I'm also tired of said obsessive players giving us more casual players a bad name (I only play 1 month out of every few and I'm not acting like a crack addict). I don't understand why people must be so stereotypical.

And those that want to go and blame WoW for "destroying lives" should also support banning violent games for making children violent- else they're just being hypocritical.
