Except I disagree with the fundamental nature of the secret (duh, obviously). People can love the game all they want, but localization or not doesn't change the MAJOR PLOT POINTS that a lot of people really find stupid.

I played GS3 in Japanese with a friend translating, and I absolutely loved it. I knew I was going to love it based on the plot and everything I knew. And... I was right.

Now with virtually the same situation with GS4, knowing the plot points and te character developments.... I'm pretty sure I'm not going to like it. And the Japanese didn't, either (well, a lot of them).

Sure, you can love the game if you want, that's your choice and more power to you. But... the secret just doesn't make sense.

I disagree with the choice of wording in the secret.

I do, however, agree with its overall sentiment--that you can't honestly judge something until you've given it a shot yourself, especially in the case of gaming. I've seen fine points on both sides made about the game, the best points including parts of the game I was completely unaware of. It's because of those particular points that I'm wary of those who claim to hate the game without having played it. Every little bit counts with the Ace Attorney canon.

Plus, what plot points may seem stupid to some may strike others as brilliant, depending on how it all adds up. I know that was the case for me with PW3.

...and those are my final thoughts before I knock myself out for the night, so FUTURE APOLOGIES if the above made...no sense.
