28. I've seen it ruin and enrich lives. I'll definitely agree on the ruin part, but my roommate and live-in boyfriend were both met through the game 3 years ago C:

44. Agreed hard, anon! Nothing says selfish faster than a low share ratio. (And no, I don't care about slow internet speeds...if thats the case, seed after you're done instead of rushing to something else.)

For the record, I buy anime with my commission money, but sadly can only use the stuff that reaches my paypal account, which isn't the method of payment often enough :C

Yes, yes, yes. Isn't it only fair to help others get what you've gotten? If you think seeding makes your internet slow, you can throttle the number of connections and the upload rate. If it's inconvenient to seed because you're on 56K, why are you using bittorrent in the first place?

All in all, I sorta look down upon anyone who downloads a lot of anime and has a share ratio lower than one. (I think I'm sitting at around 3.5 right now. T3 + PeerGuardian = 1+TB uploaded)
