Read the secret again. In summary it says: "If you have not played the game don't bash it."

And again, I disagree. I know the game, if not line-by-line, pretty damn thoroughly despite not having played it myself in English. I know the plot points, I know the ins and outs of the cases, I know what the characters do if not exactly every little thing they do while they say it.

And I don't like it. That won't magically change when I get my hands on the localized version.

If the secret had said "if you don't know anything about the game don't bash it" I'd completely agree, because then you're just bashing on concept and that's just dumb. But when you're dislking it on CONTENT that you know, I think that's entirely fair.

Which is what makes sense, because if you don't know the content of the game or how it goes, then how can you bash it based on appearance alone? It's different when someone who has played it and hated the plot/etc after it, but like, even though I don't like what was done with the plot, I'm still going to play it and hey, I might even like it, it's not like it's going to take away from what I loved before it.

tl;dr aside, all I'm saying is that let it be? I think the commenter above was simply agreeing with the part of the secret that she agreed with, and there's nothing wrong with that, yes?

Right, I'm saying I agree; bashing something on simple appearance is dumb and I'd totally be with the secret poster there if that was what they were saying (even if they have the amusing CantFaketheFaggotry in there too >_>) but that's not.

And again, as the secret is stated, I just disagree with the crux of the message. But fair enough, let it be it shall be.

Whoopdie doo! You disagree. That's fantastic. However, why are you lecturing me just because I agreed with someone else's opinion? Are you going through the entire F!S post and saying the same thing to OTHER people who agreed with the secret?

Or am I just special?

Wait, I'm harassing you? I'm not TRYING to change your mind. You like the game; that's absolutely fantastic, good for you (and I'm not being sarcastic). Here I was under the impression that we were simply disagreeing, because you seemed very in support of the ideas proposed in the secret. And, as I disagree with the crux of the matter--being that you have to physically play a game localized to dislike it--AND that the secret in question was targeted at myself, I voiced those disagreements.

But this is far from harassment. O_o What, people can't disagree anymore?

Then if the secret was targeted at yourself, find the secret maker and tell them you don't agree with the message.

I wasn't going to say anything, but for the sake of a friend, I'll clarify the reaction. Due to previous circumstances where strong opinions have been put forward against the background subject of the secret, most pointedly directed at this commenter for sharing their positive opinion of the series, I think you'll understand why they feel harassed. It's not my place to say, of course, but there's a matter of liking something, and people making it look like they're in the wrong for doing so.

We're adults here and I wont assume you're doing that, but since the matter has come up and I suppose I am saying something anyway about where I can see it, I'd just like to advise you to be careful? I mean, opinions are great, but not everyone wants to hear what they liked being treated negatively, you know? It just felt like you were going out of your way to single them out to disagree *to* them, when what you felt could have been said in a comment of your own.

Sorry about this ._. I just figured I'd explain.

I wasn't disagreeing with them on their opinion of the game; I like to think that I've made it MOST clear that I've got no qualms with anybody liking GS4 at all; I'm friends with people who do. If someone likes it, more power to them.

I was not disagreeing (and commenting to them) on their like or dislike for the game, I was disagreeing with them that they seemed to be (rather intensely) agreeing with the assumption put forth in the original secret that "a person (namely, me, based on this secret) who hasn't played the game but bashes/criticizes it is an asshole / in the wrong."

But whether or not the commenter loves GS4 or not is totally her own opinion, and I've got nothing against her either way for it.

Okay, that makes it clearer, actually. Thanks for offering a clarification as well, I just wanted to stop any trouble before it started since this was in my notice.

Also I agree with your icon and I haven't even watched the series sdklfskdlfj.

Anytime; stopping trouble is good XD; especially when it's just from misunderstandings.
