Alanna: Gods! Evil Wizards! Grade: Cool/okay.

Daine: War and weird magic! Grade: Cool/okay.

Kel: Sexism. Grade: Cool/okay.

Aly: Slavery! Rebellion! Gods! Racism! Spys! AND her Mom is Alanna! Grade: AMAZING

Bekka: Evil child-serial killer targeting poor children! Plus the Tortall equivilent of blood diamonds PLUS lady knights. AND an angsy backstory complete with weird magic. AND (as if it couldn't get any better?) she's George's ancestress. Plus another appearence by Faithful, if under a different name.

How much cooler than Bekka can you get? I don't care how old you are, you're never to old for Bekka.

...I'm not going to lie - don't hate me, but I didn't like the Bekka book. I didn't like the style and I just...I don't know, I didn't like it.

Aly was totally awesome, though. Loved her. And Nawat! Nawat was amazing.
