Nope! I wasn't aware of it. (DC has a lot of direct to DVD movies these days. I have seen a couple of the older ones, but I don't keep up.)

Going by what google is telling me it sounds like something I would like! (So maybe if I can find somewhere to watch I'll give it a try. Thanks!)

I imagine it doesn't take itself too seriously? That's what most people seem to fear Suicide Squad will do.

Some people complained that it was "darker and edgier" (nevermind that it has a lot of obvious influence from the Ostrander Suicide Squad days) but to me it's "crazier and funnier." Which is how I like my Suicide Squad. Also, King Shark is in it.
