The most recent thing I've noticed is the replies in this thread.

https://fandomsecrets.dreamwidth.org/1223624.html?thread=840689864#cmt840689864

In particular we have named users and not just anon trolls decrying feminism as broken and wrong.

Comradesmiler is an existential threat to our way of life

A single user more powerful than a nuclear bomb

Oh noes, named users against feminism.

Truly your beliefs are in danger. I would be so concerned if I were you.

You know I have heard that when a movement or ideology is threatened by someone not agreeing , it might say more about the movement than the person who disagrees.

Dude, I am a feminist and think that parts of feminism are broken and wrong. It's okay to be a free thinker. Hey, wait, maybe that's one of the things about feminism, the right to think for ourselves....

But looking at that thread, most feminists there think your right to think for yourself is null and void as soon as you don't subscribe to feminism.

Uh, as of right now, this particular wave feminism is broken. Sitting there with your head in hands, muffs over year ears, eyes closed and screaming LALALALALALALALALLALAA isn't gonna change that.

That doesn't mean however that these people, or that F!S anyway, is majorly anti-women/equality.

Yeah, that's pretty much my opinion on it.

Not decrying, stating.

Well, some of us just avoided that thread. I had no desire to look at that argument when it popped up yesterday.
