Yea, I feel like if "I don't like you" is all that was said it's not that bad. Harsh, a bit rude maybe, but in the grand scheme of things...kind of tame.

Don't get me wrong, I feel like the best way to turn someone down is gently (unless they've been an asshole or a creep), but if you don't feel like doing that, well...you could do a lot worse.

Not to mention these kids look like they're in grade school and kids are not exactly the most tactful at that age.

Haha, hell no they aren't. I cringe when I think of my younger years; I def had my asshole moments (where I said or did things I wouldn't have had I been older and more self-aware).
