I was young and it was the only movie we could watch. It created my life long hate of Nic Cage.

Looking it up our other options would have been pretty terrible as well.

Don't hate Nic Cage... he's supplying a crucial service. And that service is to create dopey films to laugh at where the punchline is the acting as much as the jokes that supply it.

You could even say he's a... National Treasure.
