35. Hey, if my work were good enough to put in someone else's icon, I'd be jazzed. Let them have the 100X100 as long as they aren't using the full thing with out my permission.

39. Nah, of course not. How could you be? I'm of the opinion that while not classically 'good looking' he's very cute and personable. If you don't agree, as long as you're not "OMG he's ugly and untalented," no one should be bothered by what you have to say. :)

Yeah but my point is that it's unfair to assume that just because you, as an artist, would love seeing your work on an icon, all other artists would. (Especially Japanese fanartists, the ones most frequently icon'd, who actually have an entire page devoted to explaining that most of them don't like it.) And I see this argument too often. :/

I got ya. I am not at all active in anime/manga fanart circles. I guess my motives for doing fanart is much different then their's. Then again I've always been kind of an anomaly in general....
