I really enjoy military in fiction. Probably fairly hypocritical, but I'm always watching in situations where I would be okay with it (like SG1 where they are exploring and defending the Earth not attacking anyone). I'm not a pacifist, I'm okay with the military in theory, just don't like the way it actually plays out, at least in the US.
